Mr. Espinoza - English II
Hello!
My name is Sergio Espinoza-Bautista and I am a sophomore English teacher here at BOYCP. This is actually my third year teaching here and in general! A little about myself: I was born and raised in the south-side neighborhood of Gage Park (literally a few minutes from the Back of the Yards). I went to Florence Nightingale/Rachel Carson Elementary schools and graduated from Thomas Kelly High School in 2014. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a minor in English.
A few of my hobbies include playing video games and playing/watching/coaching soccer! Aside from being a full-time teacher, I am also the head varsity coach from the boys soccer team and the junior varsity coach for the girls.

Mi nombre es Sergio Espinoza-Bautista y soy un profesor de inglés de segundo año aquí en BOYCP. ¡Este es en realidad mi tercer año enseñando aquí y en general! Un poco sobre mí: nací y crecí en el vecindario del lado sur de Gage Park (literalmente, a unos minutos de Back of the Yards). Fui a las escuelas primarias Florence Nightingale / Rachel Carson y me gradué de la escuela secundaria Thomas Kelly en 2014. Obtuve mi licenciatura en educación secundaria con una especialización en inglés.
Algunos de mis pasatiempos incluyen jugar videojuegos y jugar / ver / entrenar fútbol. Además de ser maestra de tiempo completo, también soy la entrenadora principal del equipo universitario de fútbol masculino y la entrenadora universitaria junior de las niñas.
