Ryan Blumberg

Hey Bobcats!  I am the Athletic Director and one of the PE teachers.  Please come to me for all things sports and driver education related!

 

I have been at BOYCP since the school opened in 2013, and going into my ninth year of teaching!  This year I will be teaching sophomores PE & Driver Education, as well as overseeing all sports programs as the Athletic Director.  I graduated from Western Illinois University in 2012 with a bachelors in Kinesiology.  This past spring I earned my National Board Certification in physical education/early adolescence through young adulthood.  In May became a dad to my new son, Declan!  Outside of teaching I love working out, being a dad, going to concerts, exploring the city and cheering on the Cubs, Bulls, Bears, and Blackhawks!  I truly think I have the greatest job in the world!  I love to watch as students leave our PE program excited and motivated about working out and taking care of their bodies!
