Physics and Engineering Teacher
I have been teaching at BOYCP since 2013 and as an educator in Illinois for the past 26 years. As a founding teacher of BOYCP, I have worked hard to build our science and engineering program for our students. I have a B.S. in Biology from Iowa State University and a M.S. in Biology from Northeastern Illinois University. I am excited to help students experience and learn about the physical world and the living things in it. I will bring a wide range of real world experiences into our classrooms from project based learning lessons to current technology to field trips. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mother of 3 amazing adult sons.
