About Me

My name is Chelsea Moorman. I am starting my 5th year here at BOYCP. Since starting here, I have taught Algebra I, Geometry and DP Mathematics. I went to Western Michigan University for my undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Spanish and English with a minor is history. During my time there, I was able to study abroad in Spain for the summer and I was there when they won the world cup!  I moved to Chicago in 2013 and earned my first master's degree from National Louis University while working in AUSL.  I trained for a year at Solorio and then taught two years at McNair Elementary.  Since I have been at BOYCP, I have obtained another master's degree at St. Francis University and I have achieved National Board Certification.

On a non-academic note, I love playing volleyball. I played all throughout high school, intramural in college and play in leagues in the city.  I also coach the sophomore team here at BOYCP.  I am also a level 40 on Fall Guys and love the phone game Picture Cross.  Currently, I am working on making my way through the Marvel films, so that should take me several years (lol).
