Erik Strentz
About Me:
This will be my 7th year teaching. Although I teach a lot of technical skills in my classes, I try to look at every project as a work of art - our tools just happen to be cameras and computers. My favorite part of the job is giving students the chance to be really creative and make things that they are excited about.
Before teaching, I worked in the entertainment industry for over 10 years, doing everything from coffee orders to building stages to camerawork. I learned a lot about show business and behind the scenes work, which I love sharing with my students. This continues to inspire me as I design work for the CP Broadcast program.
