You’re invited to join the CPS Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) for a Citywide Reimagining STEM Experience - The STEM and Sports Edition for CPS students and their families on April 1, 2025.

This intergenerational STEM experience provides CPS families with opportunities to learn about STEM in sports and other STEM opportunities in Chicago with engaging hands-on activities. STEM concepts often feel abstract to families, but these events make them tangible and relatable. Showcasing STEM in sports—such as data analytics, biomechanics, and technology in training—helps families understand its practical implications and career opportunities. Ultimately, this event exemplifies how strategic partnerships—like Sky Cares, 4th Family, BKP, and other STEM organizations—can transform how communities perceive and engage with STEM. It’s more than an educational initiative; it’s a movement to reimagine possibilities and empower all CPS families to be STEM-Powered.
Participants will enter a raffle for Chicago Sky tickets for this season and have access to the CPS and Chicago Sky discount code for home games.
