IB LEARNERS OF THE MONTH- Amber, Yamilet and Natalie!

Congratulations to the February IB Learners of the Month!  This month's IB learner profile characteristic was inquirers.  The winners this month displayed their curiosity through research, learned independently and in groups, and had an enthusiasm and love for learning. Congrats, again!

Amber Gonzalez, Sophomore
Nominated by Ms. Alexander
Amber is always pushing her making skills by investigating ways to manipulate materials. She explores new media head-on and takes time outside of class to grow as an artist. Her curiosity drives her creativity and in return, she makes breathtaking artworks.

Yamilet Aceves, Sophomore
Nominated by Ms. Serrano

Yami is always enthusiastic to learn beyond what is in the classroom. Loves to do her own research on certain topics and ideas she is curious about, and bring those thoughts to the classroom. Yami loves helping her classmates understand topics and go in-depth with her thoughts.

Natalie Andrade, Freshman
Nominated by Ms. Schack
Natalie is one of the most curious students I have taught. She consistently asks questions to deeper her learning and considers multiple perspectives. Natalie considers the information that she is given and truly works to understand it. She pushes her thinking further by being curious and shows a love for learning.
